— In Celebration of Joining the Perinton Community, Jim Boeheim Golf Ball On Parade On Display–
Rochester, N.Y., JULY 1, 2013 – Under the leadership of John DiMarco, II and Joel DiMarco, The DiMarco Group recently closed on the purchase of the Perinton Square Mall. As new owners, The DiMarco’s and The DiMarco Group assume the responsibility for developing, managing, maintaining and leasing the 193,718-square-foot shopping center.
Located on the corner of Routes 31 and 250, Perinton Square Mall offers shoppers a mix of grocery, dining and retail options. All but 8,304 square feet are leased at the center. The DiMarco Group, along with its real estate company, Baldwin Real Estate, is reviewing options for filling the remaining space in the shopping center. DiMarco anticipates the center will be full by the fall of 2013.
“When we purchase or build shopping centers, our number one objective is to create a diverse shopping environment focused on the customer experience,” said John DiMarco, II, president of The DiMarco Group. “We’re excited to be a part of this shopping center in the Perinton community.”
In the spirit of community partnership, The DiMarco Group agreed to host the Jim Boeheim Golf Ball on Parade at Perinton Square Mall. Golf Balls on Parade is a community-wide initiative that will raise thousands of dollars for local charities throughout the summer leading up to the 95th PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club this August.
The DiMarco Group sponsors two golf ball icons on the parade. The other carries the likeness of Buffalo Sabres goalie, Ryan Miller, and is located at The DiMarco Group’s retail construction equipment rental and sales company, ADMAR, in Canandaigua.
Shoppers at Perinton Square Mall and ADMAR are encouraged to visit the Golf Balls on Parade as part of the Golf Balls On Parade Scavenger Hunt, which runs through September.
