ROCHESTER, N.Y. — July 7, 2015 — Bill Wayne was recently named project executive for DiMarco Group after advancing through the health care sector. After starting out as a radiology technologist, Wayne worked his way through various hospital administrative positions. Before coming to DiMarco, he completed more than 75 projects totaling over 600,000 square feet in real estate project management at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
In his position at DiMarco Constructors, Wayne is responsible for securing new business, managing customers’ needs and expectations, and overseeing the development of active projects.
Wayne joins DiMarco Constructors after 20 years at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he worked in several different capacities. In his tenure his responsibilities ranged from improving internal communication and recruiting physicians to managing real estate, architects, engineers and financial assets.
A long-time resident of the Rochester area, Wayne received his M.S. in business administration/medical management from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration and his B.S. in health services administration from Rochester Institute of Technology .
Wayne lives in Gates with his wife, Joan. He serves in several capacities for St. John of Rochester church, including co-chair of the building/renovation committee. In the past, Wayne has served as president of the board of directors of the American Cancer Society in Ontario County, the Ontario/Yates County Hospice Govenance Committee, United Way and Fairport Baseball Inc. National Tournament.
