Rochester, N.Y., October 9, 2013 – The world’s largest hair salon brand is setting up shop in the Tops Brighton Plaza. Great Clips, known for delivering affordable, quality haircuts at more than 3,000 locations nationwide, is now open for business in Brighton.

Great Clips franchise owner, Sean Flint, commemorated the opening of the newest location with a recent ribbon cutting. The event was attended by representatives from DiMarco Group, owners of the plaza, along with local leaders from the Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Brighton, NY State Senator Joseph Robach and other community businesses. While there are a handful of other Great Clips in the Rochester region, this is the first salon to open in Brighton.

Great Clips offers an innovative salon business model with no appointments needed, online check-in through their website or downloaded apps, and a commitment to local charitable activities. Great Clips stylists also receive ongoing training to ensure they are up to date on the latest styles and to develop their skills throughout their careers.

Tops Brighton Plaza is currently undergoing significant renovations to update the façade and add pedestrian zones, as well as outdoor seating areas.  The Tops is also getting a big makeover which will result in a significantly improved store. Tops is open for business during construction and the enhanced store is scheduled to be unveiled by the end of this year.
