REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR TOPCON’S PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING EVENT FOR CONSTRUCTION PROS
-Exclusive 3D Layout and Construction Tech Roadshow Rolls Into Rochester-
WHAT: This month,contractors, engineers and surveyors from across New York will have the opportunity to test drive the latest in advanced positioning technologies during Topcon’s Technology Roadshow. The two-day event is hosted by ADMAR at the future site of Bass Pro Shops at Fishers Ridge in Victor.
Visiting only 24 cities in North America, the roadshow includes a 5,000-square-foot mobile classroom/theater to provide professionals with both classroom and hands-on demonstrations of construction instruments and technology. Participants can attend 90-minute theater sessions, followed by hands on training, that will be offered at various times during the two-day event.
A featured product on display at the roadshow is Topcon’s LN-100, the world’s first 3-D positioning system designed for construction layout. The self-leveling tool, which can be controlled by an Android smartphone or tablet, allows one-person layout to be easily and accurately executed. Additional demos include 3-D machine control, data collectors, 3-D site link and the HT30 haul truck, among others.
